Bridget

My wife is amazing, but you probably already knew that. This moving to a different country thing has been an adventure to say the least (not in a bad way, don't go gettin all worried). I'm just so proud of her and I wanted to blog it. Bridget took charge of figuring out WhatsApp and talking to all the rental agents to find us this sweet sweet condo. Bridget also is the one who uses WhatsApp to talk in Spanish (using the translator app) to whoever we need to communicate with to get shit done. She is also the one who more often wants to explore new places in the city, and I'm more hesitant because we haven't been there before lol. 

Also.....ALSO....... Bridget is just kicking ass in our Spanish class. We have one week left and she is just killing it. Now I don't have the stats and can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure at this point she is the best in our class. Bridget even helps me with my Spanish homework (I'm the worst Mexican lol). She didn't even realize how good she was doing until I had her sit down and read a paragraph in Spanish the other day. She read it, saying all the words correctly. Then I asked her to read it again this time translating it into English. To her surprise she did it! Fucking amazing! We are far from fluent, but I'm so proud of her embracing the culture here, learning the language, and also using it when we get the chance.

It's just us out here, pretty far from friends and family. I don't know what I'd do without my Bridget. I'm so thankful to have such an amazing wife. I know for a fact I could not do this without her. Well maybe I could, but I sure wouldn't like it as much ;)  - Nolan
