Cravin that fresh salsa!

It wasn't long before Bridget and I noticed something interesting about the chips & salsa situation here in Mexico. Strangely enough there just isn't one. (I know, I was shocked too) While its true that Mexico is the land of amazing food and fresh flavors, they apparently are not the land of chips & salsa. Don't get me wrong there is salsa here, chips as well, sooo many chips. But we rarely see them served together. Even ceviche out here isn't served with chips, it comes with crackers.
Now if you know me at all, you know chips & salsa are  my thing. And I just happen to be pretty good at making salsa. So I did just that, I made us a giant bowl of fresh salsa. Personally I've always been a fan of flavor over fire so my salsa is not at all hot, but instead a journey of flavor.
My salsa reciepe is something I aquirred by chance from a local while passing through Sedona, Arizona. And now I'm happy to share it with you.

4 Large Tomates

1/2 Onion

1 bunch Cilantro

1 Green Bell Pepper

1 tsp crushed Garlic

1 tsp crushed Salt

1 small can Green Chiles

1 Lime (squeeze it)

Splash of Orange Juice 😉👍🏽

Chop it up. Stir and enjoy! -Nolan

I 💛that you’d never vacationed in Mexico yet moved there. Now you’re discovering all the things that are oh so different.
