Random Day of Fun!

Today was unexpected in the best way. We woke up this morning and decided to take Bolty for a good long walk, grab some breakfast, then go grocery shopping. We accomplished the walk and breakfast, which was really more of a brunch cuz I ordered pizza, but that doesn't matter anyway.

So the place we picked for brunch happened to be in super touristy area, and I was like cool, lets eat then I just wanna peak in a shop or two for fun. First shop we went into and naturally I loved it all and the lady knew it lol. I did manage a lil self control and we only bought  a really cool table runner. Next thing ya know I'm tryin on cowboy hats and we're listening to stories of the Wixarika tribe and how they heal people with peyote, and do bead work as a side gig (their bead work is beautiful by the way). Then on and on we went into more shops, and more shops, then a tequila tasting that turned into  tequila & margarita buying. Then we of course had to participate in the photo ops on the beach since we were all boozed up at that point lol. Then we decided F the grocery store, we'll just do that tomorrow. We've been in Puerto Vallarta a month now and this was our first time actually spending a decent amount of time in the tourist areas, checking out the lil shops, and doing tourist things. This is our city now and we decided to take the day to get to know it a lil better and enjoy it a lil more. We hit up the Señor Frog store after that where I bought a hat cuz I love hats! Then back home to Bolty where I took a quick siesta while we waited for happy hour to start at our favorite neighborhood restaurant so we could get drinks and mussels! Oh yeah we're living that good life. Bolt came with us of course because dogs are always welcome there. Finally the sun is going down, but we decided to sneak just a lil more fun into our already great day. So up to the rooftop we went for a refreshing sunset swim. Wrapping up our day in the pool watching the sunset over the ocean was the perfect way to end our day. I think today was our first day where we didn't have anything we "had to get done."

Having fun keeping up on your adventures and seeing the pictures! Exciting and brave to venture into the unknown. Looks like you’re settling in and best of luck with your español escuela. Just needed to drop two of the approximately 50 Spanish words I know ;).
