Its no secret that Puerto Vallarta is a very popular tourist destination. So popular in fact that you will hear more music in english than spanish in stores, gyms, and even Uber rides. We have met several gringos that have lived here more than 10 years and don't speak spanish, pretty much because you don't have to here. Almost everywhere you go there will be someone there that speaks english. And for the few places that don't, google translator is good enough.
However, we decided that we don't want to be those people living in Mexico that can't speak Spanish. Plus for me its even more personal. I refuse to be a mexican citizen and not speak Spanish. How embarassing.
So we're taking a class! We are taking Intermediate Spanish 😬😳 It is challenging to say the least. But we're showin up every morning, doing our homework every night, and and slowly but surely learning Spanish 🙌🏽. Watch out Mexico, we're about to get chatty lol. -Nolan
