I finally got my first hair cut since we got to Mexico. I was sooooo anxious about it for so many reasons. Being a chick that goes to a barbershop ya never really know what to expect from the barbers. After years n years of rockin my short men's style hair I had finally found a barbershop in Bellingham that was super gay friendly and cut my hair perfectly every time.
So now here we are in Mexico, and I'm once again in search of the perfect barber/barbershop for me. As luck would have it we stumbled into an amazing lil barbershop today while out looking for lunch. I liked the look of it from the outside, then even more from the inside so I decided to give it a try.
There was just one guy working and he was cutting someone else's hair when we went in, but he stopped for a moment to offer us beer, coca cola, or water while we wait. There was a pool table so we played a couple games of pool while watching spanish hip hop videos.
Then came the moment of truth. Time to cut my hair. Between his english and my spanish we figured it out 🙌🏽 Guy did an excellent job on my hair and was very focused on details, which I super appreciated. Then when I thought we were all done and I was about to hop out of the chair he pulls out this massage gun and starts working my shoulders n upper back. I did not hate that! Here's hopin the next haircut at the same shop goes just as well. Wouldn't it be awesome if I found my barber/barbershop on the first try? - Nolan

It would be awesome. I hope you got his name. I wonder if he’s been to NY?!?!
